A Classic Boat is 25 years or older, OR meets the following criteria:
- Is a rare example of a particular boat type or model
- Is of unique or innovated design or construction
- Was constructed on the Gippsland Lakes
- Has a history of use connected to the Gippsland Lakes
- Has a strong historical significance outside of the Gippsland Lakes
- Is of public interest All entries are at the committee’s discretion including considerations for size, mooring availability and number of similar entries.
