Tarna is a Tumlaren Class Racing Yacht designed by Knud Reimers in Sweden and built by Clausen & Son in Adelaide in 1937. Her planking is all original full length Oregon pine copper fastened over hardwood ribs and deadwood. She was raced on Port Philip Bay for nearly 70 years before coming to her new home on the Gippsland Lakes where she was restored in 2005. A more recent overhaul included new decking and splining of the hull. Tarna continues to be competitive in the Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club race program and enjoyed by both those who sail her and those who watch her fly past.
