Built in 1937 at Mallacoota for Mrs Mattsson, proprietor of Gypsy Point Hotel, Gypsy Point near Genoa. Built by Ray Kiernan. Purpose built for a tourist day boat for the Mallacoota Inlet and Genoa River. Owned by the Hotel for about 7 years before sold and used as a barracouta fishing boat at Eden, NSW. Purchased by Rod Pheeney and used as a fishing boat at Mallacoota.
Sold to Wilsons at Tamboon Inlet and used for seine net fishing. Sold and used at Lakes Entrance as a fishing boat and water taxi. A day boat at Metung. Purchased in 1998 by Irene Bould of Raymond Island and refitted by Andrew Bould and Robert Ashworth Marine Services. Nicknamed 'Chugga'.
