Constructed in
1962 by Auckland boat builder Don Norton using a combination of imported exotic hardwoods and New Zealand native timbers and marine ply.  She has only had two owners and is in perfect original condition.  She measures 176 in length and is powered by a 75hp Mercury outboard.  Querida1 is a piece of NZ boating history. Featured in NZ Powerboat magazine in the 1990s, she is light and fast.  Still in regular use she has a new home on Western Port Bay at Yaringa Boat Harbour.
