Sarah Jane is a 1975, Hartley 16. The builder and owner was David Negus, my grandfather. The hull was built in a high school woodwork classroom. David built a number of dinghies and Heron 12s. David and wife Doris sailed the lakes until 2005, along with their children and grandchildren sailing with them during school holidays. Their daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Neal took the helm from 2005.
