Spindrift, 2025

Length   9ft

Construction:   Timber

Owner:   Peter Corser

Spindrift is our 9ft nesting dingy built by Peter Corser and Grayson Huther, who turned 12 at that time in 2025. It is a stitch and glue build. The concept of the nesting dingy is one designed around convenience of space. By separating the boat into two halves and having one half nest inside the other means it should be smaller to transport or able sit on the foredeck of your yacht as a tender. Funnily enough, we don’t actually use it in this way, as it perfectly slides onto the roof of the car, while we tow our RL28 to our desired destination. It was built for Grayson, because he is a keen rower and then we were kindly donated an aluminium mast and mainsail off an 8ft cat, so now Grayson is learning to sail it. Spindrift does both exceptionally well!
