Ben Lexcen Mini 12. This boat has just completed a fully restoration from a bare hull and has been repainted, fully re-rigged and sails made to suit the mast. Originally built in Western Australia in 1986 to a Ben Lexcen design as a scaled down version of the 1983 America’s Cup winner Australia II for use in Hire fleets and sail training. Limited examples are scattered around Australia but are becoming rarer. These boats predate the more popular International 2.4mR and offer a similar sailing experience with the added bonus of all the spills and thrills of Spinnaker handling downwind.
