The 6 metre St Ayles Skiff, weighing approx 180kg is built by clamp and glue method of marine ply from kit form. No screws or nails are used during construction. 
Built in 2019 by members of Mordialloc Sailing Club, taking 12 months to build in the club boat shed. 
An Iain Oughtred Design based on traditional Shetland fishing Dories, with 35 skiffs built in Australia and over 400 around the World.  A very stable, safe and seaworthy craft rowed with 4 sweep oars each approx 3.5 m in length plus a cox. 
2026 will be the third occasion Mordy Skiff has participated in the Streamers Run. This year with over 40 St Ayles Skiff crew, rowing 6 skiffs from 5 Australian states plus several rowers from England.
