Rhubarb was built at The Franklin Wooden Boat Centre. The hull is built from Huon, King Billy and Celery Top pine. The spares are made from Oregon. Rhubarb was designed by Adrian Dean, a well-known Tasmanian boat designer.
The build was completed by John Reeves, Pete Schultz, Bronwen Puleston-Jones, Conor Clavey and Jack Witte, under the supervision of Mitch Bray. Rhubarb was finished in Allwood by Tim Heaney and staff at Frescherville-Heaney Boatworks, Paynesville.
Rhubarb measures approximately 3.5 LOA with a beam of 1.6m.
The traditional tan bark gaff rigged sail was made by Storm Bay Sails, Kettering
