Ian Oughtred design Arctic Tern. Built by a retired builder in Kettering Tasmania using Oughtred plans but adding beautiful decorative timber decks in King Billy pine and Huon pine strips. Whilst it is fully rigged as a gaff rig and now self-tacking jib, it can also be motored using a special slot in the rear deck and a small outboard installed.
