These boats are designed by Derek Ellard, and are built from a kit of marine plywood, Hoop Pine, Red Cedar and selected hardwoods. Timber spars of Douglas Fir. An electric motor can be fitted, with batteries as added ballast.
The boat was named after the book The Seacret Driftus and Sprout. The owners keep her in Geelong and hope to sail her when they can.
