Built in 1924/25 for Jack Calvert of Mossiface. The Calverts grew hops off the Bridal Creek beyond Mossiface. The boat was built to cross the bar into the Bridal Creek. (Excerpt from Directory of Paynesville Boat Builders and Wooden Boats - B Reynolds and P Stokes, 2016). Foam was built as an open working boat. Later, when owned by the Methodists Ladies College, a three-quarter length cabin was added. She was then transferred to the Baptist outdoor education camp, Toonallook on Banksia Peninsula, with a name change to 'Toona Foam', for the transport of students. A full length "ferry" style cabin was added. Now in private ownership, her name has been returned to the original.
