I purchased this boat in 2009 and immediately cut off the entire cabin and removed the Vee Berth.
The cabin had been constructed from CD ply with McEwans doorstop hardwwod and No more Gaps. The Vee berth was enormous and made of Chipboard! I replaced both with more marine compliant materials. The cabin complies with The Hartley MK3 design.
Since then I have sailed and raced in many Hartley 18-21 YC events and even became the Commodore for 7 years. We enjoy coming down to the Lakes when ever possible.
